The hill behind the cottage is Parks Board controlled, peaceful, with no buildings or other activities on it. The cottage is connected to the N2 highway by 1.2km of tar road. On the other side of the N2 highway are beautiful sandy beaches. The Garden Route Mall in George is 15 minutes' drive from here, where most facilities can be found. The Wilderness Village which is 7 minutes away, is particularly charming and has a good selection of restaurants alongside shops like the Spar for normal requirements. |
